One of my favorite recordings of the Bach Sonatas and Partitas is by Chris Thile on mandolin. His interpretation and expression feels natural and flows beautifully. I had the honor and pleasure of working with him in Los Angeles with the L.A. Chamber Orchestra several years ago. Definitely one of the highlights of my career. He is also a member of Nickel Creek.
